Eligibility / Admission

+2 Programs

GPA Requirements:

• Science: Overall B+ (2.8 and above) with optional Mathematics
• Management: Overall B (2.4 and above)
• Humanities: Overall C+ (2.0 and above)

Entrance Test: Candidates who wish to study at GoldenGate International College must pass the qualifying admission exam administered by the College following the announcement of the SEE results.

Interview: Successful applicants in the entrance exam are needed to participate in an interview with their parents to determine final admission permission.

BCA

• Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D with a CGPA of 1.8 or higher. Or,
• Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
• You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. But they must submit a passed certificate of grade 11 and grade 12 at the time of admission.
• Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BBS

• Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 1.6. Or,
• Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
• You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. At the time of admission, however, they must present their grade 11 and grade 12 passing certificates.
• Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by the college

BBM

• Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 1.8 or higher. Or,
• Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
• Students awaiting their grade 11 and grade 12 results are also eligible to apply. However, individuals must have grade 11 and grade 12 completion certificates while applying.
• Pass the Entrance Exam (CMAT) conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BA/BASW

• You must have passed the PCL or 10+2 level in Business/commerce, Science, or any equivalent from any board recognized by TU.
• Pass the entrance exam conducted by the college.

BSc Physics

• You must have completed 10+2/A Level or equivalent (with Math) from a recognized board or university.
• You must have obtained a minimum of Grade C/ Second Division.
• Pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University with a good mark to get your name on the college merit list.

BSc Microbiology / Environmental Science

• You must have completed 10+2/A Level or equivalent (with Biology as a major subject) from a recognized board or university.
• Pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University with a good mark to get your name on the college merit list.

MSc Physics

• You must have a 3 or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from a recognized university, with a minimum percentage of 50%.
• Pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University.

MSc Microbiology / Environmental Science

• You must have a 3 or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology / Environmental Science from a recognized university, with a minimum percentage of 50%.
• Pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University.

MBS

• The candidate applying for admission into the MBS program must have successfully completed BBS from TU or any university recognized by TU.
• Or from any stream that has passed Bachelor’s Degree from TU or University recognized by TU is eligible. 

Scholarship

A variety of scholarships are available to academically sound, worthy, and marginalized students who fit the college’s qualifications.
Category 1 – Based on SEE Result (For +2) / +2 results (for Bachelor).
Category 2 – Based on entrance examination results.
Category 3 – Underprivileged/marginalized/ethnic/scheduled cast(Dalit)/ indigenous/ differently-abled students as per rule.
Category 4 – Academically sound and needy students from the community school background.
Category 5 – Students with outstanding talents in sports and ECA recognized at the national and international levels.

Note: The scholarship for Grade XII will be provided on the basis of Grade XI’s academic performance.

About GoldenGate International College

GoldenGate International College is a private college located in Old Baneshwor, Kathmandu Nepal. It was established in 2007 AD and currently, it offers NEB’s +2 Programs and Bachelor & Master courses in affiliation with Tribhuvan University.

In the previous sixteen years, the college has developed from strength to strength, establishing itself as one of the greatest educational institutions in Nepal in terms of educational excellence.

Every year, the institution introduces new courses and programs. Currently, the college provides 7 Master’s degrees and 16 Bachelor’s programs via Tribhuvan University in Nepal. The institution also provides +2 courses that are accredited by the Nepal Higher Secondary Education Board. The Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM) and Cosmos Engineering College are associated with the college.

The college intends to add a few more courses/programs in the near future. We are working hard to provide a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Information Management (BIM), MSc in Chemistry, MA in Peace, Conflict, and Development, and MA in Social Work programs.
