The student attending the MIT program must have earned a Bachelor of Information Technology degree from TU or its equivalent. The program also accepts students with a Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology, Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Electronics, Bachelor of Information Management, Bachelor of Information Systems, Bachelor of Computer Application, or their equivalent.
Individuals who have earned a bachelor's degree in any field from Tribhuvan University or any accredited university with a minimum of 100 marks or equivalent are eligible for postgraduate study in English. Furthermore, graduates from any university in a nation where English is the mother tongue and who have received equal graduation level accreditation from a postsecondary institution are eligible to pursue postgraduate courses in English.

A student holding a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following subjects recognized by Tribhuvan University is considered eligible to apply for admission:
Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, Nepalese History, Culture and Archaeology, Psychology, History, Home Science, Geography, Economics, and Political Science
Any discipline from faculty of Education, Management, and Law
Any discipline from institute of Medicine, Engineering, Forestry, Agriculture, and Animal Science
An applicant seeking admission to M.A. Sociology must appear in an Entrance Examination of one hour’s duration conducted by the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Tribhuvan University.
Applicants who fail to appear in the entrance exam or do not obtain the minimum qualifying score will not be admitted. Admission will be strictly based on the merit list and the enrollment capacity of the Central Department of Sociology/Campus.
Students possessing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in economics from TU or any other university recognized by TU are eligible to apply for the M.A. programme. Students with backgrounds in mathematics, statistics, and management may also apply.
Student must pass the entrance exam and admission is based on merit.
Holders of Bachelor level degree in the field of applied science (such as Forestry, Watershed Management, Agriculture, Environment, Natural Resource Management, and Rural Development) with minimum aggregate percent marks fixed by IOF can appear in the entrance exam administered by the Dean’s Office, Institute of Forestry.
The M.A. Nepali program is open to applicants who have earned a bachelor's degree from any university recognized by Tribhuvan University, regardless of their subject of study.
The students applying for admission to MBS course must have successfully completed the BBS programme or a bachelor degree on any discipline from Tribhuvan University or from any other University recognized by Tribhuvan University.
Candidates who have completed a B.Sc. degree with a major in Physics from Tribhuvan University, or hold an equivalent degree with the same specialization from a university recognized by Tribhuvan University, are eligible to apply for admission to the M.Sc. Physics program.
To gain admission to the M.Sc. Physics program applicants must appear in an entrance examination conducted by the Central Department of Physics, Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. Admission will not be granted to those who fail to attend the entrance exam or do not achieve the minimum required score.
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program, the applicant must have:
Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree
With a minimum B- grade, or
second division in an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
In addition to this academic qualification, all applicants must also appear for an entrance exam conducted by the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FOHSS).
Candidates who have completed a B.Sc. degree with a major in environmental science with a second division from Tribhuvan University or an equivalent degree from another university recognized by Tribhuvan University are eligible to apply for admission to M.Sc. Environmental Science.
The student must pass an entrance exam administered by TU IoST, and admission is strictly on merit.

Parking AreaPatan Multiple Campus is T.U’s single component campus in Lalitpur district, the valley’s second biggest city. It was formally established on 17th Bhadra, 2011 B.S. and was titled “Patan Inter College” at the time. On Bhadra 31, 2021 BS, His Majesty Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah, the then crown prince, opened the college.
Currently, the college offers lots of graduate and undergraduate programs like BSc CSIT, BCA, BBM, BIT, BBA, BSc, BA, MA, MSc, MCA, BBS, and so on.
