• Applicants must have completed any of the following degrees or an equivalent qualification:
• MBBS, BDS, BPH, BN/BNS/B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. MLT/BMLT, BAMS, B.Pharm, B.Optom, B.Sc. MIT, BASLP, or BPT.
• They must also be registered with the relevant professional council in their country.
• In addition to meeting the academic requirements, all applicants must appear in an entrance examination. The final selection will be based on the recommendation of the Medical Education Commission (MEC).

To be eligible, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

1. General Science Group:

• Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized educational institution.

• Must have passed with at least 50% or 2.4 CGPA in the proficiency certificate level or Grade 12 Science group.

2. A-Level or Equivalent Programs:

• Students from A-Level or equivalent international programs must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

• Must have passed with at least 50% marks or 2.4 CGPA.

3. Health Science Diploma Holders:

• Candidates with a Proficiency Certificate or Diploma in Health Science (e.g., General Medicine, Medical Lab Technology, Ophthalmic Science, Dental Science, Pharmacy, Radiography, Ayurveda, Physiotherapy).

• Must have secured at least 50% marks or 2.4 CGPA, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects.

• Must have obtained Grade 12 Science equivalency from the National Examination Board.

• Must be registered with the respective council.

• Applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at a recognized educational institution and passed with at least 50% marks or a 2.4 CGPA in the Proficiency Certificate Level or Grade 12 Science group.

OR

• Students from A-level or equivalent programs with different grading systems must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and achieved at least 50% marks or a 2.4 CGPA.

OR

• Candidates must have obtained at least 50% overall marks in a Health Science Proficiency Certificate Level or Diploma in fields such as:

  • General Medicine

  • Medical Lab Technology

  • Ophthalmic Science

  • Dental Science

  • Pharmacy

  • Radiography

  • Ayurveda

  • Physiotherapy
    They must also be registered with the relevant professional council.

• Eligibility:Students must have completed Intermediate in Science (I. Sc.), Higher Secondary Level (10+2, Science Stream), or Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL, Science) with a minimum of 50% marks.

• Entrance Examination:All applicants are required to pass an entrance exam as part of the selection process.

• Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized institution and obtained at least 50% marks or a 2.4 CGPA in the Proficiency Certificate Level or Grade 12 Science Group.

OR

• Students from A-level or equivalent grading systems must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and secured a minimum of 50% or 2.4 CGPA.

OR

• Applicants with a Proficiency Certificate Level or Diploma in Health Sciences (such as Ayurveda, Medical Lab Technology, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, or Ophthalmic Science) must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks to apply for a relevant academic program (e.g., BSc MLT from CMLT, B Pharm from Diploma in Pharmacy).

OR

• Candidates with a Health Science Certificate/Diploma (in Medical Lab Technology, Ophthalmic Science, Dental Science, Pharmacy, Radiography, Ayurveda, or Physiotherapy) must:

  • Have a minimum of 50% aggregate in Health Science,

  • Have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 50% or 2.4 CGPA,

  • Have received equivalency to the Class 12 Science Group from the National Examination Board, and

  • Be registered with the appropriate council.

A new student in BBA must have completed Intermediate or Higher Secondary level (10+2) or Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) with at least 50 percent or 2.0 CGPA, or an equivalent approved by Pokhara University. In addition, the student must pass the entrance exam administered by the relevant college.

Documents Required

The candidate must submit the following documents along with the application form provided by the relevant college/school, along with a set fee:

• BBA application form signed and completed Official transcripts from prior academic institutions attended.
• All degree certificates must be photocopied and accompanied by valid attestation.
• Enrolment is contingent on the fulfillment of all admission processes, including payment of all college-determined costs. Applications that are incomplete will not be processed.

Admission Procedures

An academic session is divided into two semesters. The Fall Semester begins in September, followed by the Spring Semester in March. Students are typically accepted into the program during the fall semester.

At the start of each semester, students must register for courses from the relevant institution on their own. Only in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the principal, may registration in the absence be permitted. In most situations, a student’s nominee will not be permitted to register for the student’s course, but he or she may complete other requirements.

• Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and passed with at least 50% marks or a 2.4 CGPA in the Proficiency Certificate Level or Grade 12 Science group from a recognized institution.

OR

• Students from A-level or similar programs with different grading systems must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and achieved a minimum of 50% marks or 2.4 CGPA.

OR

• Those holding a Proficiency Certificate or Diploma in Health Science (such as Ayurveda, Medical Lab Technology, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Ophthalmic Science, etc.) must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks to apply for related academic programs (e.g., BSc MLT from CMLT, B Pharm from Diploma in Pharmacy).

OR

• Applicants with a Health Science Proficiency Certificate/Diploma (including Medical Lab Technology, Ophthalmic Science, Dental Science, etc.) must have:

  • At least 50% aggregate marks

  • Studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

  • Scored 50% in aggregate from NEB or 2.4 CGPA

  • Gained equivalency to Grade 12 Science group

  • Be registered with the relevant council

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program:

• Students must pass the Common Entrance Examination for Bachelor Level in Health Professional Education conducted by the Medical Education Commission (MEC).

To sit for the entrance exam, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Have passed 10+2 Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, securing at least 50% total marks or a GPA of 2.4,
  OR

• Have obtained an equivalent grade/percentage in a different grading system such as A-Level,
  OR

• Have completed a Diploma in Physiotherapy with a minimum of 50%, and be registered with the Nepal Pharmacy Council.

Note: The entrance exam is highly competitive, and only recommended and successful candidates will be admitted.

To be eligible, applicants must have:

• Completed a Proficiency Certificate Level or Diploma in Nursing with at least 50% aggregate marks,
  AND

• Be registered with the Nepal Nursing Council.
