Courses (Tribhuvan University)

Eligibility

BBA

• Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D with a CGPA of 1.8 or higher. Or,
• Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
• Students awaiting their grade 11 and grade 12 results are also eligible to apply. However, individuals must have grade 11 and grade 12 completion certificates while applying.
• Pass the Entrance Exam (CMAT) conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BBS

• Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D with a CGPA of 1.6. Or,
• Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
• You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. At the time of admission, however, you must present their grade 11 and grade 12 passing certificates.

MBS

• The candidate applying for admission into the MBS program must have successfully completed BBs from TU or any university recognized by TU. Or,
• Candidates from any stream who have passed a Bachelor’s Degree from TU or a University recognized by TU are eligible. 
• Pass the entrance conducted by Tribhuvan University.

Scholarship

1. Scholarship (BBA)
   The college offers TU special scholarships for government/community school/college students.
2. TU Board Topper Scholarship
   T.U. Board Topper will be awarded one semester 100% scholarship. (equally divided, if more than one)

About Modern Nepal College

Modern Nepal College (MNC) is located in Sorhakhutte, Naya Bazar, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU) and offers three courses: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), and Master of Business Studies (MBS).

It is dedicated to creating human resources necessary for the country’s development by providing high-quality, career-relevant education. MNC attempt to improve educational quality in order to develop skilled labor in the country.

The college achieved a first by obtaining the ‘TU Vice Chancellor Gold Medal’ among all private Management Colleges in 2066 BS. MNC has also achieved 26 times TU BBA Board Topper scores among all colleges affiliated with the Faculty of Management. MNC have also contributed to increasing access to education for all by providing scholarships to socially excluded, economically poor, and meritorious students in order to ensure inclusivity in education.

• In conjunction with like-minded local, national, and worldwide groups, promote academic, non-academic, and social initiatives.
