Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field, with a total of at least 16 years of formal education (including 12 years of school and 4 years of undergraduate study). A minimum CGPA of 2.0 or a second division (or equivalent) at the bachelor's level is required for eligibility.
To apply for the Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.) program at Pokhara University, applicants must meet one of the following academic qualifications:
Intermediate Level in Science (with a minimum of 100 marks in Mathematics), or
Diploma in Engineering or Architecture, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution with at least second division marks, or
SLC (Class 12 Science Stream) from NEB Nepal (including a 100-mark Mathematics course), securing at least a ‘C’ grade in each subject.
In addition to fulfilling academic qualifications, candidates must also pass the entrance test administered by the respective school or college.
Applications are invited through a public notice. Forms and brochures can be collected from the respective college/school after paying the required fee.
Applications are reviewed by the institution, and eligible candidates are called to sit for the entrance examination (which includes an aptitude test).
The test date and other relevant information are shared with the applicants by the school/college/university.
Admission is based on merit, determined by performance in the entrance exam.
Mathematics: 40%
English: 20%
Physics: 15%
Chemistry: 15%
Aptitude Test: 10%
If Chemistry is not included in the aptitude test, the combined weight becomes 25% (15% + 10%).
An interview may also be part of the final selection process.
Foreign students may be admitted under a 20% quota based on interviews.
Students admitted provisionally must submit the necessary academic documents within one month. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of admission.
Students applying for admission to Bachelor-level engineering programs must have completed Intermediate in Science (I.Sc.) or Higher Secondary Education (10+2 science stream), or hold a Diploma in Engineering or Architecture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. They must have secured at least second division marks or a minimum of “C” grade (combined average of theory and practical) in each subject of grades 11 and 12. In addition to meeting the academic requirements, applicants must also appear in the entrance exam conducted by the School of Engineering and be listed in the merit list.

Note: The minimum grade requirement (Grade C or 45%) applies only to core subjects. It does not apply to additional or extra subjects. Candidates must have taken Mathematics worth at least 100 marks in either Class 11 or Class 12 under NEB or an equivalent education board.

Eligibility
A new student in BBA must have completed Intermediate or Higher Secondary level (10+2) or Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL), or an equivalent approved by Pokhara University. In addition, the student must pass the entrance exam administered by the relevant college.

An academic session is divided into two semesters. The Fall Semester begins in September, followed by the Spring Semester in March. Students are typically accepted into the program during the fall semester.
At the start of each semester, students must register for courses from the relevant institution on their own. Only in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the principal, may registration in the absence be permitted. In most situations, a student’s nominee will not be permitted to register for the student’s course, but he or she may complete other requirements.
