• You should have completed your +2 education from a science background or equivalent.
• You should have scored a C in total in each subject of Class 11 and Class 12 with mathematics and physics 100 marks or 45% in total.
• At last, you must pass the entrance exam with a good score to get your name on the merit list of the college you are interested in.

The candidate must have completed BE Geomatics or equivalent from a recognzied board by Tribhuvan University. 

• Applicants must have completed a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specifically in BE Civil or an equivalent field.
• Candidates should have achieved undergraduate grades that are well above average and meet the minimum academic standards set by the Faculty Board of the Institute of Engineering (IOE).

A qualifying score must be obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the Entrance Board of IOE, or as determined by a special entrance committee for international students.

Note: "Equivalent" refers to a degree obtained from a recognized institution other than TU, considered academically equivalent to a TU degree in the same discipline.

• To be eligible for the admission to the M.Sc in Infrastructure Engineering and Management, a candidate must have passed 4 years B.E. in Civil Engineering/ or equivalent, have undergraduate grades significantly above average and not less than the prescribed by the faculty board of IOE, and

• A four-year bachelor's degree in engineering, with a focus on electrical engineering or its equivalent, is required for entrance to the M.Sc. program in distributed generation engineering.
  Obtain a minimum score on the entrance exam administered by the IOE Entrance Board (or as advised by the special entrance committee for foreign students) and have undergraduate grades that are both significantly above average and not below the minimum required by the IOE Faculty Boar​
  

To be eligible for the admission to the M.Sc in Communications and Knowledge Engineering, a candidate must have passed 4 years B.E. in computer engineering/B.E. in electronics and communication engineering/ B.E. in electrical and electronics engineering/ or equivalent
