The applicant for admission to the BBS program:
Written Test:The admission exam known as the Central Management Admission Test (CMAT), which is administered by the Faculty of Management, must be taken by eligible applicants. The test will be conducted according to international testing norms and guidelines. It covers things like Verbal ability, Quantitative ability, Logical reasoning, and General awareness.
The CMAT will consist of one hundred (100) objective questions, twenty-five (25) of which will be in each part and carry a total score of one hundred (100). For the CMAT, the student needs to receive at least a 40% score in order to be eligible for the interview.
Interview
Short-listed candidates will have scores in the CMAT above the cutoff. Interviews and selection for admission will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates.
When submitting an application for admission to the BITM program, students
Eligible applicants are needed to take the Central Management Admission Test (CMAT), which is administered by the Faculty of Management. The exam will adhere to worldwide testing protocols and standards. It covers topics such as Capability to communicate, Quantitative aptitude, Logical thinking, and General understanding.
The CMAT will have one hundred (100) objective questions, with twenty (25) questions in each part and a total weightage of 100 points. To be eligible for the interview, students must score at least 40% on the CMAT.
Applicants who score higher than the cut-off point in the CMAT will be considered. Only those on the shortlist will be interviewed and admitted.
The candidate submitting an application for admission to the BBA program should have:
Students who have completed 10+2 or comparable examinations from a recognized academic institute with a second division (45% or higher) or 1.8 CGPA are eligible to participate in this program.
The students applying for admission to MBS course must have successfully completed the BBS programme or a bachelor degree on any discipline from Tribhuvan University or from any other University recognized by Tribhuvan University.
A Bachelor’s Degree with:
Minimum CGPA of 2.0 (semester system), or
Minimum 45% marks (annual system)
CMAT written test administered by the Office of the Dean will serve as the basis for student intake.
The admission process involves three stages, conducted after the CMAT written test by the Department/Campus and follows the GMAT format:
Group Discussion
Applicants discuss a given topic.
Evaluation is based on leadership, language proficiency, logical arguments, and conclusions.
Individual Presentation
Applicants present their views and opinions on a topic to a panel.
Personal Interview
Conducted to assess an applicant’s motivation, attitude, aptitude, and ability to handle the rigor of the MBM program.
To apply for the MBA-Finance program, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
Hold a Bachelor's degree with at least a CGPA of 2.0 (in the semester system) or 45% marks (in the annual system).
Admission will be granted through a competitive selection process, which includes the following four stages:
Written Test
Applicants must take a written examination based on the CDMAT (Central Department Management Admission Test) format. The test duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Group Discussion
Candidates will participate in group discussions on a given topic. Their performance will be evaluated by a panel of judges on criteria such as leadership, language proficiency, logical reasoning, and the quality of conclusions.
Individual Presentation
Each applicant will be required to deliver a presentation on a specific topic, showcasing their opinions and insights to a panel.
Personal Interview
A personal interview will be conducted to assess the applicant’s motivation, attitude, and ability to manage the demands and challenges of the MBA-Finance program.
