To be eligible for the MBA program, applicants must have completed at least 15 years of formal education—comprising 12 years of schooling followed by a 3-year undergraduate degree. Additionally, they should have obtained a minimum CGPA of 2.0 or at least 45% at the Bachelor's level. Admission decisions are based on the applicant’s performance in the entrance test, group discussions, and interviews.
Applicants must submit the following documents along with the application form, available from the respective college or school upon payment of a set fee:
A completed and signed MBA application form
Two letters of recommendation
Official transcripts from all academic institutions previously attended
All academic certificates must be photocopied and properly attested. Admission will only be confirmed after completing all formalities, including payment of applicable fees. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Applicants must have passed Grade 12 with a minimum CGPA of 1.8 and secured at least a Grade D in all subjects in both Grade 11 and 12.
Students who have completed or are expecting to complete their Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with at least a second division are eligible to apply.
Candidates from educational boards other than HSEB or Tribhuvan University must obtain a certification letter from either HSEB or Pokhara University, verifying that their board is equivalent and valid for admission.

An academic session is divided into two semesters. The Fall Semester begins in September, followed by the Spring Semester in March. Students are typically accepted into the program during the fall semester.
At the start of each semester, students must register for courses from the relevant institution on their own. Only in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the principal, may registration in the absence be permitted. In most situations, a student’s nominee will not be permitted to register for the student’s course, but he or she may complete other requirements.

Computer Lab: Excel Business College is outfitted with cutting-edge instructional technology. It has a well-managed computer lab with an adequate number of desktop computers. We’ve been employing multimedia tools in the classroom to supplement our instruction. The Excel community has access to the internet 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Library: The library contains a good selection of basic books (textbooks) and reference materials. Books are loaned to students and academic members. Our library service and documentation center benefits from the availability of selected national and international journals, study reports, audio video CDs, periodicals, newspapers, and other reference materials.
Co-Curricular Activities: Excel Business College hosts a variety of sports including TT, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Football, and Cricket. Debates, writing competitions, seminars, conferences, workshops, guest lectures, and other events are also held on a regular basis.
Power Back-Up: Excel Business College installed a 20 KVA generator to address the issue of power shortage/load-shedding in the classroom and computer lab. This generator ensures continuous power supply.
Canteen:Throughout the day, the college offers a nice and clean canteen that delivers sanitary meals at a reasonable price.
