Eligibility / Admission
BCA
- Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D with a CGPA of 1.8 or higher. Or,
- Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
- You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. But they must submit a passed certificate of grade 11 and grade 12 at the time of admission.
- Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.
BBS / BA / BASW / BEd
- Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D with a CGPA of 1.6. Or,
- Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
- You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. At the time of admission, however, they must present their grade 11 and grade 12 passing certificates.
- Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by the college.
MBS
- You must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree from TU or any institution recognized by TU.
Scholarship
Girija Prasad (GP) Koirala Memorial College has a scholarship program for students who are chosen by the college administration team. Scholarship consideration is offered to both meritorious and needy individuals.
About GP Koirala Memorial College
Girija Prasad Koirala Memorial College is located in Kathmandu’s Siphal, Chabhil, Kathmandu. It was named after the great hero of the Democratic Republic Movement, the first head of state and then Prime Minister of the government after Nepal was declared a republic. Since its affiliation with Tribhuvan University in Nepal in 2013/014 AD, the college has operated as a community college.
The primary goal of the College is to establish itself as a non-profit community educational institution in order to meet the national need for educated, competent, qualitative, and competitive human resources by providing quality education to the general public at an affordable cost, allowing them access to education, and improving knowledge quality through research.
