School of Environmental Science and Management

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Science, Forestry, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution. In addition to meeting the academic qualifications, candidates are required to appear for and pass an entrance examination to be eligible for admission into the MSc in Environmental Management program.

1. Candidates must have passed the NEB Class 12 examination or an equivalent level test from a recognized academic institution.
2. Candidates must have completed a course (at least 100 full marks or 5 credits) in Mathematics (Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Applied Mathematics) or Computer Science/Computer Application in a NEB or comparable SLCE (class 11 or class 12) examination.
3. Candidates must have a minimum of 45% or a CGPA/GPA of 2.0 (on a scale of 4.0) and at least Grade C (or Grade D in the case of A-level) or 45% in Mathematics/Computer Science. Other courses do not have a minimum threshold of Grade C (in the case of A level, Grade D) or 45%.

Candidates must have completed Class 12 (NEB) or an equivalent level in the Science and Technology stream, including fields like Forestry, Agriculture, Veterinary, or Engineering, from a recognized academic institution.

They must have secured at least 45% marks or a CGPA/GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale), and obtained at least Grade C (or Grade D in the case of A-level) or 45% marks in the following subjects:

• Physics, and

• Chemistry or Environment-related subjects (such as Environmental Management, Pollution, etc.), and

• One of the following: Mathematics, Biology, Zoology, Botany, or Computer Science.

Eligibility

A new student in BBA must have completed Intermediate or Higher Secondary level (10+2) or Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL), or an equivalent approved by Pokhara University. In addition, the student must pass the entrance exam administered by the relevant college.

Documents Required

The candidate must submit the following documents along with the application form provided by the relevant college/school, along with a set fee:

• BBA application form signed and completed Official transcripts from prior academic institutions attended.
• All degree certificates must be photocopied and accompanied by valid attestation.
• Enrolment is contingent on the fulfillment of all admission processes, including payment of all college-determined costs. Applications that are incomplete will not be processed.

Admission Procedures

An academic session is divided into two semesters. The Fall Semester begins in September, followed by the Spring Semester in March. Students are typically accepted into the program during the fall semester.

At the start of each semester, students must register for courses from the relevant institution on their own. Only in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the principal, may registration in the absence be permitted. In most situations, a student’s nominee will not be permitted to register for the student’s course, but he or she may complete other requirements.

BIT/BCA/BCIS/BIM or BE (all branches) or equivalent with a minimum 2.0 CGPA/Second Division.
