Himalayan College of Agriculture Science and Technology

 The candidate must have completed a B.Tech., B.Sc. (Food/Dairy/Bio-Technology, Biochemistry), B.Sc. (Ag), B.E. (Ag), B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Sc. (Biological Science), or an equivalent degree from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points or an aggregate CGPA of 2.40 (C+ grade).

If a student has a foreign certificate, they must produce an equivalent certificate plus a document from the relevant authorities that shows their CGPA or total percentage for each course.

The Candidate must have passed B.Tech. or B.Sc. (Food/Dairy/Bio-Technology), B.Sc. or B.E. Agriculture, B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Sc. Biochemistry, B.Sc. Microbiology or equivalent degree from any recognized University with minimum 50% marks or CGPA 2.40 (C+ grade) in aggregate.

Candidates interested in applying for this course must undertake the PU entrance exams. Students will be admitted on merit basis.

Note: In case of foreign certificate, student should submit equivalent certificate and grading of each subject with CGPA or document having total percentage from concerned authority.

The applicant needs to have passed:

A GPA of 2.40 or 50% from any accredited university or board is required for the School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XII with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English).

OR +2 Science or I. Sc./PCL with a GPA of 2.40 or 50% in physics, chemistry, biology, and English from any accredited university or board.

OR.

A diploma in animal science or its equivalent with a GPA of 2.40 or 50% in physics, chemistry, biology, and English from any accredited university or board.

OR.

A Level from any accredited institution or board with a GPA of 2.40 or 50% in Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology.

Applicants must meet any one of the following academic qualifications:

1. Passed Grade XII (School Leaving Certificate Examination) with Physics, Chemistry, English, and either Biology, Mathematics, or Computer Science, securing a minimum GPA of 2.00 or 45% marks from a recognized university or board.

   OR

2. Completed +2 Science, I.Sc., or PCL with Physics, Chemistry, English, and either Biology, Mathematics, or Computer Science, with a GPA of 2.00 or 45% marks from a recognized university or board.

   OR

3. Obtained a Diploma in any of the following fields: Engineering, Food & Dairy Technology, Animal Science, Plant Science, Pharmacy, General Medicine, or Lab Technology. The applicant must also have studied Physics, Chemistry, English, and either Biology, Mathematics, or Computer Science, and secured a GPA of 2.00 or 45% marks from a recognized university or board.

   OR

4. Completed A Level with Physics, Chemistry, English, and either Biology, Mathematics, or Computer Science, with a GPA of 2.00 or 45% marks from a recognized university or board.
