Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) is a professional undergraduate program focused on animal health, veterinary medicine, animal production, breeding, nutrition, and disease prevention. The applicant needs to have passed:
A GPA of 2.40 or 50% from any accredited university or board is required for the School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XII with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English).
OR +2 Science or I. Sc./PCL with a GPA of 2.40 or 50% in physics, chemistry, biology, and English from any accredited university or board.
OR.
A diploma in animal science or its equivalent with a GPA of 2.40 or 50% in physics, chemistry, biology, and English from any accredited university or board.

After completing B.V.Sc. & A.H., graduates will be able to:
Diagnose, prevent, and treat animal diseases and health disorders.
Apply knowledge of veterinary medicine, surgery, and animal health management.
Manage livestock breeding, nutrition, production, and reproduction.
Implement effective disease prevention and vaccination programs.
Promote animal welfare and responsible animal husbandry practices.
Identify and manage zoonotic diseases and contribute to public health.

Veterinary graduates can find plenty of employment prospects in Nepal's public, private, and non-governmental sectors. There are many of possibilities for managing private consulting and advice services as well as operating livestock product-based businesses.
Veterinarians are closely involved in a variety of livestock production-related issues that are beyond our farmers' expertise. Without veterinary support, the livestock production system in both the rural and commercial sectors cannot be efficient and productive.
