Eligibility / Admission
+2 Programs
GPA Requirements:
- Science: Overall B+ (2.8 and above) with optional Mathematics
- Management: Overall C+ (2.0 and above)
- Humanities: Overall C+ (2.0 and above)
- Law: Overall C+ (2.0 and above)
Entrance Test: Candidates who wish to study at St. Lawrence College must pass the qualifying admission exam administered by the College following the announcement of the SEE results.
Interview: Successful applicants in the entrance exam are needed to participate in an interview with their parents to determine final admission permission.
B.Sc CSIT
- The candidate must have a +2 degree or its equivalent in science, physics, and mathematics with 100-100 full marks at the certificate level, as well as a minimum grade point average of C or second division in each subject. Or,
- A level: The candidate must have taken science courses in physics and mathematics with a minimum grade of D in each subject and 100-100 total marks. Or,
- CTEVT- Candidates with a diploma are required to have taken physics and mathematics courses worth 100 to 100 points and received a second division. Or,
- Foreign Universities: Applicants must have obtained an equivalence certificate from the Curriculum Development Center for the appropriate level.
- Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.
BCA
- Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 2.0 or higher. Or,
- Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
- You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. But they must submit a passed certificate of grade 11 and grade 12 at the time of admission.
- Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.
BBS / BASW
- Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 1.6. Or,
- Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
- You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. At the time of admission, however, they must present their grade 11 and grade 12 passing certificates.
- Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by the college
MBS
- The candidate applying for admission into the MBS program must have successfully completed BBS from TU or any university recognized by TU.
- Or from any stream that has passed Bachelor’s Degree from TU or a University recognized by TU is eligible.
Scholarship
St. Lawrence College offers full and partial scholarships to qualified students in need. All scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, class activities, and academic growth.
For +2 Programs
SEE Merit Scholarship: Students will be awarded merit-based scholarships depending on their SEE GPA and Entrance Exam results.
Entrance Topper: This scholarship is provided based on the entrance exam results for new admissions each year, however, each entry topper must score at least 80% in the Entrance Test to be eligible for this prize.
Term Examination Topper: Three students from each stream and level will get a scholarship for three, two, and one month’s tuition cost waived for placing first, second, and third, respectively.
Board Examination Topper: This grant will be awarded to three students from each stream and level. The first will receive a full scholarship (except for lab and yearly fees), the second will receive a 50% scholarship in monthly tuition costs, and the third will receive a three-month tuition fee waiver.
Special Scholarship: Students who have been impacted by a natural catastrophe will be eligible for a special scholarship, but they must submit a tender letter that has been authorized by government officials.
Bachelor Programs
Merit-Based Scholarship: We provide merit-based tuition scholarships of up to 100% to qualified individuals. This award is based on academic performance in the T.U. Entrance and Two Levels. For more information, please contact the Information Desk.
Semester Topper’s Scholarship: The college offers a special scholarship to a TU board semester topper student, which covers 50%, 30%, and 20% of the semester fee for first, second, and third position holders respectively. We believe that such a scholarship will be highly beneficial and motivating for the deserving students of BSc CSIT and BCA.
