Kathmandu College of Management Fee Structure

The fee structure of Kathmandu College of Management is as follows:

Eligibility

• The candidate must have completed NEB Grade 12 with a minimum of Grade C in all subjects.
• The candidate must have completed CBSE Grade 12 with a minimum of 50%.
• Student must have completed GCE A level with a minimum of 3 credits and must have taken at least 3 advanced level Courses.
• The candidate must have completed GED with a minimum score of 600.
• Students who have successfully completed Grade 11 and are awaiting Grade 12 results may apply for admission on a provisional basis.

Admission Process

Step 1:
The student must submit the application form, as well as the following documents:

• Transcript and certificate of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Transcript and certificate of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Character certificate (Grade 10 and Grade 12)
• Provisional certificate
• Migration certificate
• Citizenship certificate
• Passport

Step 2: Candidates who have been shortlisted will be asked to take a written test to measure their numeric skills and English language competence. A group discussion will also be held to evaluate communication abilities.

Step 3: Candidates who pass the written exam and the group discussion will be invited to an interview.

Step 4: Candidates who do well in the interview are eligible for admission and to join the KCM family.

Scholarship

I. Swangsri Sivakriskul Jehendar Scholarship – 5 students

Kathmandu College of Management has committed financial help to high achievers from poor backgrounds as part of its commitment to acquiring the best talent for the International BBA program. Swangsri Sivakriskul Jehendar Scholarship Program is a need-based endowment given to students who have excelled academically. It provides a full tuition waiver so that students may participate in a rewarding learning environment, with the expectation that the scholars would give back to their communities once they graduate.

Eligibility Criteria: All Nepali citizens are eligible for the Swangsri Sivakriskul Jehendar Scholarship Program. To be considered for selection, the student must possess the following qualifications:

• Attained at least 80% in Grade 10 from a public school.
• Achieved at least 75% in Grade 12 from any private or governmental institution.
• Possessing excellent leadership abilities and a nice personality.
• Accepted into the International BBA program at KCM-Siam University.

Applicants from low-income households or marginalized groups will be given preference.

KCM Merit Award

Each year, a merit scholarship is given to a second-year student who has proven great academic performance in his or her first year. The award gives a full tuition waiver for one year.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

• The student must have finished their first year at KCM.
• The student must have received the top grade in his or her first year.

Manisha Memorial Merit Award

KCM began sponsoring this scholarship in 2009 in remembrance of Manisha Shrestha (Batch 2005-2009), who was tragically killed in a traffic accident. The Manisha Memorial Scholarship honors two third-year students who have shown remarkable academic potential in their second year, one from each of the Marketing, Finance, and Banking groups. The award offers a one-year tuition waiver.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

• Students must have finished their second year at KCM.
• Students must have received the highest grade in their second year of study.

Nirajan Memorial Merit Award

In remembrance of the late Prince Nirajan Bikram Shah (Batch 1998-2001), KCM recognizes two excellent fourth-year students who displayed academic achievement in their third year, one from each of the Marketing, Finance, and Banking groups. The scholarship offers a one-year tuition waiver.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

• Students must have finished their third year at KCM.
• The student must have received the highest grade in his or her third year.

Management Appreciation Award

Each year, the Management Appreciation Award is given to a student who has demonstrated exceptional promise in academics and extracurricular activities throughout his or her time at KCM. During the selection process, the management takes into account the fourth-year students individually. The scholarship offers a one-year tuition waiver.

About Kathmandu College of Technology

Recognizing the need for excellent management education in Nepal, Kathmandu College of Management was founded in 1997 as the country’s first college to provide a BBA program. The country’s commercial prospects were expanding, necessitating the education of young brains in the corporate sector from a worldwide viewpoint.
