Eligibility
BBA / BIM
- Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 1.8 or higher. Or,
- Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
- Students awaiting their grade 11 and grade 12 results are also eligible to apply. However, individuals must have grade 11 and grade 12 completion certificates while applying.
- Pass the Entrance Exam (CMAT) (40 Marks) conducted by Tribhuvan University.
BCA
- Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 2.0 or higher. Or,
- Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
- You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. But they must submit a passed certificate of grade 11 and grade 12 at the time of admission.
- Pass the BCA Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.
Scholarship
Scholarships are available at Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology for TU and semester toppers. KCMIT will give scholarships to meritorious students who meet the standards established by KCMIT.
- Scholarship for the TU topper.
- Scholarship for the top three students of the semester.
About Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology
Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology (KCMIT) is located at Basuki Marg, Mid Baneshwor, Kathmandu. It was founded in Kathmandu in 2000 A.D. under Tribhuvan University’s new orientation to collaborate with the private education industry to give the most sophisticated education to Nepalese students.
It was founded in August 2000 by a group of management educators and IT professionals with extensive experience in teaching and education management. Today, KCMIT will be remembered as Tribhuvan University’s first college to introduce and administer the Bachelor in Information Management program (BIM).
The ball was set in motion by a team of very cooperative and passionate IT Experts and dedicated Faculty. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program debuted in 2004. With all of the standards for an excellent education in place, there was no turning back for KCMIT.
Since its inception, the goal of KCMIT has been to produce socially responsible, scientifically oriented Management and IT Professionals for the constantly expanding worldwide employment market. They have been on the education map for over two decades and have successfully graduated multiple batches of students who have carved out professions in various disciplines on the national and international levels.
