The candidate must pass Grades 11 and 12 with a CGPA of 2.0 or more and a D grade in each subject. Or,
The candidate must pass PCL, 10+2, or an equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of a second division.
Pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BITM Eligibility

When submitting an application for admission to the BITM program, students

Successfully completed twelve-year schooling or its equivalent from any university, board, or institution recognized by Tribhuvan University.
Minimum D+ grade in each subject in grades 11 and 12, with a CGPA of 1.80 or above; secured at least second division in the 10+2, PCL, or similar program
Completed all application procedures.

Admission Criteria

Written Test:

Eligible applicants are needed to take the Central Management Admission Test (CMAT), which is administered by the Faculty of Management. The exam will adhere to worldwide testing protocols and standards. It covers topics such as Capability to communicate, Quantitative aptitude, Logical thinking, and General understanding.

The CMAT will have one hundred (100) objective questions, with twenty (25) questions in each part and a total weightage of 100 points. To be eligible for the interview, students must score at least 40% on the CMAT.

Interview

Applicants who score higher than the cut-off point in the CMAT will be considered. Only those on the shortlist will be interviewed and admitted.

BBA Eligibility

The candidate submitting an application for admission to the BBA program should have:

Successfully completed a twelve-year education, or its equivalent, from a university, board, or other organization recognized by Tribhuvan University.
Achieved at least second division in the 10+2, PCL, or comparable program, with a minimum D+ grade in each subject in grades 11 and 12 and a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 1.80 or greater; and
Followed all application requirements.

About Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology

Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology (KCMIT) is located at Basuki Marg, Mid Baneshwor, Kathmandu. It was founded in Kathmandu in 2000 A.D. under Tribhuvan University’s new orientation to collaborate with the private education industry to give the most sophisticated education to Nepalese students.

It was founded in August 2000 by a group of management educators and IT professionals with extensive experience in teaching and education management. Today, KCMIT will be remembered as Tribhuvan University’s first college to introduce and administer the Bachelor's in Information Management program (BIM).

The ball was set in motion by a team of very cooperative and passionate IT Experts and dedicated Faculty. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program debuted in 2004. With all of the standards for an excellent education in place, there was no turning back for KCMIT.

Since its inception, the goal of KCMIT has been to produce socially responsible, scientifically oriented Management and IT Professionals for the constantly expanding worldwide employment market. They have been on the education map for over two decades and have successfully graduated multiple batches of students who have carved out professions in various disciplines on the national and international levels.
