Applicants must have successfully completed twelve years of schooling in any stream, with at least one mathematics subject carrying 100 marks at the 10+2 level.
They must have secured a minimum 'C' grade in each subject of grades 11 and 12, with a CGPA of 2.0 or higher. If the student took optional mathematics in grade 12, they must have secured at least a 'D+' grade in that subject.
OR
The candidate must have obtained at least second division (45%) marks in 10+2, PCL, or any equivalent program in any discipline.
Students who have passed grade 11 and are awaiting the grade 12 supplementary exam (PURAK PARIKSHA) may also apply, but must submit all required documents during admission.
Students who have appeared in the final exam and are waiting for results and certificates can apply for the entrance examination, but they must also submit all necessary documents at the time of admission.
In the case of a foreign certificate, the applicant must submit an equivalency certificate and subject-wise grading with CGPA or total percentage from the concerned authority.
All applicants must pass the entrance examination conducted by Purbanchal University.
The applicant must have completed +2 or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university with either:
a minimum of 45% marks, or
at least a D grade in each subject and a minimum GPA of 2.0 in aggregate.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, and at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) are eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor of Computer Engineering program under Purbanchal University.
Students who have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination in the Science stream (or Intermediate of Science) with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English as core subjects, and have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks, are eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Engineering program.
Students who have completed a Bachelor's degree in any faculty with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks and are interested in the diverse fields of mass communication and journalism can apply for the MAMCJ program during November/December each year. The initial procedure involves submitting a completed application form and attending an entrance test followed by an oral interview. Candidates who successfully pass both the test and interview will be eligible for selection.
However, the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism reserves the right not to admit all qualifying candidates if seats are limited. Final admissions are determined based on merit.
Applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree in fields such as Computer Science, CSIT, IT, BEIT, BICT, BCA, BIT, PGDCA, BIM, BCIS, BBIS, or any related discipline in Computer Applications, Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering. A minimum of 45% marks or a GPA of 2.00 is required for eligibility.
For those with foreign academic qualifications, an equivalent certification must be submitted along with the CGPA or a document indicating the total percentage from the relevant authority.
The candidate must have complted a minimum of 10+2+3 years of education in any stream with a minimum of 40% marks or GPA 2.00 in a Bachelor's degree from any recognized university or Board.
Awarded based on academic excellence and achievements, this scholarship recognizes top-performing students with financial support.
Offered in partnership with Kalpa Academy, this scholarship is granted to 20 students per section. It provides reduced-cost education to help more students access quality learning opportunities.
I. Merit-Based Scholarship
Top 5% of entrance exam scorers receive an 80% tuition fee waiver. This scholarship remains active as long as the student continues to top each semester.
II. Reservation Scholarship
5% of total students are granted a full (100%) tuition fee scholarship. However, students must still cover university registration, exam fees, deposit, and student welfare charges. Final decisions are based on university guidelines.

Purbanchal University grants an 80% tuition waiver to the top 5% of students based on entrance exam results.
The affiliated college may provide an additional scholarship of up to 33% on tuition fees for eligible applicants.
