To be eligible for admission, the candidate must:
Have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, with at least 50% marks or a minimum of C+ grade (CGPA 2.40) in aggregate.
Pass the entrance examination conducted by Purbanchal University.
Note:
For applicants with a foreign degree, an equivalency certificate must be submitted along with either the subject-wise CGPA breakdown or a document indicating the total percentage from the concerned authority.

Formerly called the Himalayan Institute of Science and Technology (HIST), HIST Engineering College is a private engineering school situated in Gwarko, Lalitpur. It is connected to Purbanchal University and was founded in 2002 (2059 BS).
BE Civil Engineering, BE Electronics and Communication Engineering, MSc Engineering Management, and MSc Information System Engineering are among the engineering and technology programs offered by the college.
