Eligibility

The following are the basic requirements for admission to the courses: Applicants should have any of the following qualifications:

• Successfully completed +2 level from NEB or equivalent with minimum 55% OR 2.2 GPA in Grade XII and minimum C in every subject. Or,
• Completed A Level with minimum C and D Grades. Or,
• Successfully complete Foundation year (from a recognized university or HE institution)

English language requirements are as follows :

• Valid IELTS overall score of 5.5 with a minimum of 5.0 in each band. OR,
• Nepalese High School 12th English minimum 60% or B Grade.
• The University of Bedfordshire ELAS with a minimum of B2 Grade.

Admission Procedure

The admission method entails filling out the admission form with all essential fields and submitting it to the College’s administrative office. Alternatively, the admission form can be downloaded and an online application filed via the website www.patancollege.edu.np.

The administrative staff examines and registers the duly completed and submitted admission form, after which the applicants must appear for a common entrance examination. Shortlisted applicants from the entrance examination will be chosen for enrollment in an oral interview with a panel of examiners.

Students must present original certificates and credentials for verification at the time of application. The following documents are necessary for admission:

1. Attested photocopy of School leaving Certificate mark sheet and Character certificate
2. Attested photocopy of Nationality certification if applicable.

Scholarship

The PCPS College provides financial assistance to academically qualified but financially challenged students to help them complete their studies. Scholarships will be allocated to the tuition cost category. According to government regulations, scholarships will be awarded to 10% of the annual student intake. To apply and determine your eligibility, fill out an application form for scholarships and funds and submit it to the College’s administrative office.

Gyandeep Scholarship

This scholarship is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the High School Board examinations or an equivalent examination. The following is the scholarship program:

Merit Scholarship

Merit Scholarships are provided based on academic performance in the PCPS Common Entrance Examination, internal examinations/evaluations, and University end-of-term examinations. This scholarship is exclusively available for tuition fees. The following scholarships are available in this category:

Please keep in mind that this scholarship is only available for students in their second and third years and is limited to a maximum of 10% of the class. Furthermore, students can only receive one scholarship at a time during their academic career.
