Eligibility

BBA / BHCM

  • Candidate must have passed the Grade 12 Examination with a minimum GPA of 1.8 with at least a D grade in each subject in Grade 11 and Grade 12. Or,
  • Completed Higher Secondary or Intermediate Examination with Minimum Second Division.
  • Pass the written exam and interview conducted by the college.

Imperial Business College is located in Hattisar, Kamaladi, Kathmandu. Norvic Business College was the original name of this institution. The name has been changed to reflect the ambition of a larger business innovation hub, but the basic beliefs, principles, and culture remain the same.

Currently, the college offers the BBA and BHCM programs affiliated with Pokhara University. The college has adequate physical resources, educational faculty, managerial leadership, and academic achievement.

BBA and BHCM is a four-year program where the student can explore their skills and talents in the management fraternity and come up with refined and potential individuals. Imperial Business College always emphasizes practical learning experiences, providing students with opportunities to work on real-world projects and internships. 

As the world enters into global, students need to be global and develop skills accordingly. For this, Imperial Business College in its first semester provides English Language Classes based on the IELTS model where students can improve their overall English skills. Similarly, the college provides Presentation skills training and Psychological workshops to 2nd-semester students. The college organizes Public Speaking training and Socio-cultural visits for 3rd-semester students.

The college provides Leadership workshops, Case Analysis Workshops, and Advanced Excel Training to 4th-semester students. Similarly, the college organizes an Industrial Visit Program for 5th-semester students. The college provides a Proposal Writing Workshop, a CSR program, and an SPPS training workshop to 6th-semester students. Similarly, the college organizes Entrepreneurship workshops and Health seminars for 7th-semester students.

Lastly, the college conducts the AD MAD competition, Idea Pitching Competition, and Job Placement Fair for the last semester’s students. There are so many other academic and non-academic activities that help the student to develop their overall skills and knowledge. 

Imperial Business College always stands in its Educational Model “AEC” where A stands for academic excellence, E stands for Exposure and C stands for Culturally Sound Environment.

Internal Evaluation System

It is very important to understand the evaluation system as the students enroll in the University. Imperial Business College is affiliated with Pokhara University which has two evaluation systems; Internal Evaluation System (50%) and External Evaluation System (50%). The internal Evaluation System is conducted by the College itself whereas the External Evaluation System is supervised by the University. 

All the colleges that are affiliated with PU have to face the same external evaluation system. But it’s the Internal Evaluation System that stands out the college from the clutter. The flexibility of the Internal Marking System can be taken as an advantage for the college to provide a favorable learning environment to the students. In the case of Imperial Business College, there are six parameters that students are evaluated which are mentioned below:

  3. Mid Term (25%)
  4. Case Study (10%)
  5. Market Assessment/ Project Work (10%)
  6. Pre Board (35%)

Imperial Business College strictly follows these mentioned parameters and evaluates the students accordingly.

Clubs and Friends

Imperial Business College always encourages students to come forward and take leadership roles in this competitive world. For this, the college provides various platforms and Student’s CLUB is one of them. In the college, there are different clubs that organize various events based on their nature.

Marketing Club organizes various AD MADS Competition and Idea Pitching Competition. Finance Club organizes various Finance related events such as Panel Discussions on Stock Market Investment. In all of these clubs, there is the FRIENDS Club which organizes various academic and non-academic events including all these mentioned events.

FRIENDS Club is the students’ Club where its members are elected democratically. The main objective of this independent unit is to bring forth the power of proximity and welcome everyone keen to share ideas, solve problems, and imagine new possibilities.
