More About This Program

The Master in Business and Economics (MBE) at Kathmandu University is a postgraduate program that blends the study of micro and macroeconomics with quantitative tools and real-world environmental economic principles. It offers a mix of theoretical and practical learning in economics and management to help students critically evaluate national and international policies, as well as changes in governance and legal frameworks.

This program prepares students to understand financial markets, predict financial outcomes, assess risks, and work with large datasets. It's a great fit for those interested in economic challenges at both the national and global levels, and who want to develop strong data analysis skills.

The MBE program combines the core elements of business administration and economics to provide a well-rounded education. Students gain insights into how economic systems and business processes function, both from a firm-level and a broader macroeconomic perspective.
