About Sirjana College of Fine Arts

The non-profit, community-based Sirjana College of Fine Arts (SCoFA) is situated in Chhagdole, Sitapaila, Kathmandu. It was formed in 2001 AD (2058 BS) by well-known artists and art aficionados with the intention of advancing fine arts education. The college functions under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and is associated with Tribhuvan University (TU). Additionally, the University Grants Commission (UGC) Nepal has granted it institutional recognition.

Painting, sculpture, graphic communications, traditional Nepali painting, traditional Nepali sculpture, and classical music are among the specialisations offered by the college's Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program. Its programs help students enhance their artistic, creative, and professional talents by fusing academic knowledge with hands-on studio-based learning.
