Agriculture and Forestry University

With the passage of the Agriculture and Forestry institution (AFU) Bill by the Parliament in 2010, the first state-owned technical institution in Nepal was officially formed. AFU was created at Rampur, Chitwan, by combining the component campuses of Tribhuvan University, the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Sciences (IAAS), and the Forestry Campus (Institute of Forestry-IOF) in Hetauda, together with the Dean's Office of IAAS Rampur.
