Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is one of the go-to undergraduate IT courses in Nepal. Now, marking a significant progression, Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences has come up with a Master of Computer Application (MCA).
As of now, the course is only available in Patan Multiple Campus with an intake capacity of 30 students.
Eligibility:
The entry requirement for students in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is:
- Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE in Computer/Electronics/Information Technology/Software)
- Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (B.Sc. CSIT)
- Bachelor of Information Management (BIM)
- Bachelor of Education in Information and Communication Technology (Bed. ICT/BICT)
Completed the Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum B– (2.7) grade (as defined in the grading system for BCA, TU, FOHSSS, or equivalent) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution. Or,
A minimum score of 45 percent (for the annual system) in a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree.
