The candidate must have scores C grade in Compulsory Mathematics, Compulsory English, and Compulsory Science in SLC from a recognized board with an overall score of GPA 2.
Scholarship
The college provides scholarship to 10% of total students every session.
About ShiGan Health Foundation (ShiGan College)
ShiGan Health Foundation (ShiGan College) (established in 2004/2061) is located at Narayan Gopal Chowk (Maharajgunj Chakrapath) (just behind the Police Office). It is an organization established by health professionals with national and international repute. It runs the Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT) under the School of Allied Health Science (ShiGan College) affiliated with CTEVT with a subsidized tuition fee.
The college has a well-equipped laboratory with Fluorescent and Stereoscopic microscopes, PCR machines, and others. Students are taught by well-experienced teachers and they have an opportunity to mix up (cultural exchange) with Japanese students every year. The scholarship is provided to 10% candidates of the total number of students.
There is also a provision of the Japan-Nepal Friendship Scholarship for the good-performing students in internal examinations and the Bom Prasad-Santa Maya Rai Memorial Prizes for the second topper in the annual CTEVT examination. At the end of the course, the students
do their on-the-job training (OJT) (clinical field practice) at the laboratories of Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital, Attarkhel, Gokarneswor-8, Kathmandu.
