Eligibility
+2/A-Level
- Science: Min. GPA = 2.0 | C+ in English, Maths & Science | D+ other subjects
- Humanities: Min.GPA: 1.6 | D+ in all subjects.
- A Level: Min.GPA: 1.6 | D+ in all subjects.
Bachelor Courses
- Minimum of 55% (2.2 GPA) or equivalent in +2 (NEB)
- Minimum of 60% in CBSE
- 280 UCAS tariff points in A levels
- Minimum of 60 marks in English at +2/ CBSE or IELTS score of 6 with no bands less than 5.5
Admission Procedure
1. Formal Visit/Email/Online
Once you have decided on the program, the following documents must be provided to admission@nami.edu.np: The NAMI Admissions office has application forms accessible or you can get them online (Download Here).
- University of Northampton (UN) application form
- Official Transcripts (Starting from Class 10)
- Letters of Recommendation
- Personal Statement (minimum of 500 words)
- Citizenship/Passport copy
- 2 passport size pictures
2. Admission
You must manually complete the application form and submit it to the Admission officer. When the application is completed, it will be scanned and sent to the University Admissions Office for approval.
3. Enrollment
Students will be informed and given Conditional/Unconditional or Rejection letters after the University sends them an offer letter. The enrollment form must be filled out and a deposit payment made by students who have received offer letters in order to secure their spots.
Scholarship
Nami College does have scholarship programs as well. Mostly is based on the semester board exam and the scholarship will be awarded to the top three students (for every faculty).
About NAMI College
NAMI (Naaya Aayam Multi-disciplinary Institute) College is located in Jhorpati, Kathmandu. It offers +2 programs in affiliation with the National Examinations Board (NEB) and Bachelor and master’s programs affiliated with the University of Northampton, UK.
NAMI (Naaya Aayam Multi-disciplinary Institute) was founded by a group of like-minded, accomplished, and dedicated Nepali citizens with the goal of establishing an educational center of excellence to support Nepal’s social and economic development.
In collaboration with the University of Northampton (UON), in the United Kingdom, NAMI is being built as Nepal’s premier educational institution. NAMI wants to give Nepal access to top-notch education. Students from NAMI will be enrolled at the University of Northampton.
All curricula will be collaboratively delivered by UON and NAMI professors in accordance with UoN’s design and the Government of Nepal’s approval. NAMI students will receive a University of Northampton diploma upon graduation. After Year 2, NAMI students will also be able to transfer credits to UON and participate in the UK graduation ceremony.
