Eligibility

You should have completed your +2 education from a science background or equivalent.
You should have scored a C in total in each subject of Class 11 and Class 12 with mathematics and physics 100 marks or 45% in total.
At last, you must pass the entrance exam with a good score to get your name on the merit list of the college you are interested in.

Scholarship

Enrollment under the Institute of Engineering, T.U.’s 10% scholarship regulation has been included in the intake capacity.

For example, if 50 students get enrolled in BE Civil Program then, 5 students will get a scholarship.

About Kantipur Engineering College

Kantipur Engineering College (KEC) is the second oldest private engineering college in Nepal and is affiliated with Tribhuvan University. It offers engineering programs like Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Bachelor in Computer Engineering, and Bachelor in Electronics Communication & Information Engineering. It is located in Dhapakhel, Lalitpur, Nepal.

Since 1998, the Kantipur Engineering College has been providing engineering education with the goal of producing educated and proficient engineers capable of meeting the engineering challenges of our modern era, in which science and technology dominate all aspects of our lives. Engineering disciplines were groundbreaking at the time, and they are now more relevant than ever. During these years, we expended significant effort and resources to achieve excellence in engineering education.

KEC is now one of the largest and one of the few institutions with its own physical infrastructure. To date, we have graduated thirty-six batches of civil, computer, electronics, and communication engineers. The majority of our alumni are excelling both domestically and globally.

Mission

KEC strives to serve the people of Nepal in order to improve the country’s infrastructure development by providing excellent engineering education, conducting applied research, and developing a competent engineering workforce.

Objectives

KEC was created with the primary objectives of:

Produce competent, qualified, and socially responsible engineering personnel to meet the country’s problems in the new millennium.
Develop the college as a research and resource center in order to undertake research activities to improve engineering potentials and solve engineering-related challenges in the country.
Give possibilities to Nepalese residents who want to pursue engineering education in many sectors at a low cost.
Launch various programs that combine educational and developmental activities.
Serve as a long-term hub for engineering education in order to update and enhance the existing engineering workforce.
