Under this scheme, each selected student will receive a scholarship amount of NPR 50,000. Students who meet the eligibility criteria must submit their application within 15 days from the date of this notice (published on 2082/01/29).
Who Can Apply?
Students currently enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, or M.Phil level IT courses (in Academic Year 2080/81) are eligible to apply, provided they are facing financial hardship and are studying in a recognized institution.
How to Apply:
Applicants must send their complete documents to the Department of Information Technology either by:
Submitting the documents physically to the ministry office, or
Scanning and emailing all required documents to: [email protected]
Required Documents:
Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate
Proof of current academic enrollment
Recommendation letter from the local authority (if public/government-run, include confirmation from the campus head)
Proof of financial hardship from the Local Authority (In case of Financial Hardship only)
A letter stating that the applicant is not receiving any other scholarship from the current educational institution
