Kathmandu Metropolitan Class 11 and Class 12 Scholarships Notice 2083

Kathmandu Metropolitan City has opened the application for for Scholarship Exam for Class 11 students for the academic year 2083/2084. The scholarship is application to both Class 11 and Class 12.

Note: People have a misconception that this is a Balen Scholarship, but it is not associated with any individual. This scholarship exam is conducted by Kathmandu Metropolicatan City and Balen Shah was Mayor there a few time back.

Students who appeared and were graded in the SEE Examination of the academic session 2082 and who meet any of the following criteria:

Documents Required:

Required documents and photo for filling out the online application form:

SEE admit card
Passport-size photo
Citizenship certificate or birth registration certificate
SEE character certificate, transfer certificate, or recommendation letter from the school for scholarship applicants
For students who studied in community schools: a recommendation letter from the school in the format of Schedule 1 confirming that the school is a community school, along with a letter from the concerned local level or the Education Development and Coordination Unit
For students who studied in institutional schools under scholarship: a recommendation letter from the concerned school in the format of Schedule 2
For applicants under inclusive groups such as Indigenous/Janajati, Madhesi, Dalit, Muslim, and Tharu communities: a certificate issued by the concerned commission or foundation, or a recommendation letter from the District Administration Office or local level
For residents of remote areas: a recommendation letter from the concerned District Administration Office or local level confirming permanent residence
For families of martyrs, disappeared persons, injured fighters, and conflict victims: an official letter issued by the concerned District Administration Office
For persons with disabilities: a disability identity card issued by the concerned local level of permanent residence
For applicants from backward regions: a certified letter from the concerned local level confirming permanent residence in that area at the time of application, along with a Nepali citizenship certificate or birth registration certificate obtained from the concerned district
For permanent residents of Kathmandu Metropolitan City: citizenship certificate, birth registration certificate, or migration certificate
For residents of landfill site affected areas: birth registration certificate or migration certificate, along with a recommendation letter from the concerned ward confirming permanent residence in the area.
