The Global School of Science (GSS), one of Nepal’s leading educational institutions, has officially opened visits and inquiries as well as registration for its prestigious Top-25 Merit Scholarship for the academic session 2082/83. The scholarship covers full tuition, admission, and annual expenses for two consecutive years -grades XI and XII. It is offered to the top 25 students selected through the Entrance/Scholarship test that will be held on the fifth day of the SEE result, considering the result day as the first day.
“This scholarship is designed to identify and assist the nation’s brightest mind,” said Mr. Gokul Dev Badu, the program director of GSS. “We want as many students as possible to know about this promising opportunity,” he added. In 2081, four students scored 3.96, which is the highest in the entire country. This result is a benchmark which lures bright and potential students to apply for this scholarship.
Students who have appeared or passed the SEE are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Despite the accessible application procedure, students must go through the entire selection process. This includes a written examination worth 60 marks in grand total that covers 30 marks of questions from Science, 20 marks of Mathematics, 5 marks of English, and 5 marks of Mental Agility Test (MAT). Except MAT, questions are asked from the syllabus of SEE.
Candidates scoring 45 or more will qualify for an interview that carries 10 marks. Furthermore, an additional 30 marks will be accumulated based on SEE GPA in the total that finally decides the top 25 ranking. These top rankers will be awarded the full scholarship for the entire two-year +2 Science program.
