Candidates who have completed a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Forestry, Civil Engineering, Water and Soil Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or any other science-related field with at least second division are eligible to apply for the M.Sc. in Environmental Health in Disaster program.
Applicants must pass the entrance examination conducted by Tribhuvan University to be considered for admission.

The master’s program aims to enhance capacities through knowledge, experience, and research to reduce disaster-related risks and enable more focused and effective public health interventions after disasters.
i. To enhance understanding of disasters, including their various contexts, impacts, and related public health consequences.
ii. To strengthen knowledge of the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UN-ISDR) and build practical skills for implementing Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) strategies.
iii. To develop the ability to assess the potential impacts of disasters and apply appropriate public health strategies to mitigate those effects.
iv. To build competence in designing, conducting, and evaluating disaster-related research.
