This is a four-semester curriculum, with the first semester covering fundamental conceptual courses and the second and third semesters covering advanced topics. The last semester focuses on research technique and dissertation work. The minimum entry requirement is a bachelor's degree in biological sciences such as botany, zoology, microbiology, biotechnology, environmental science, forestry, agriculture, natural resource management, and so on.
The M. Sc. program offers a dynamic blend of coursework, research training, and dissertation preparation. The training is applied and management-oriented. Experts from other departments, government personnel, non-governmental organizations, international non-governmental organizations, and individuals were also invited to lecture and conduct research as visiting professors.
