The MPhil of Eastern Philosophy at Rajarshi Janak University (RJU) is a postgraduate research-oriented program focused on the major philosophical traditions of the East. The program provides advanced study of Indian and other Asian philosophical systems, including Sāṃkhya, Yoga, Nyāya, Vaiśeṣika, Mīmāṃsā, Vedānta, Cārvāka, Jain, Buddhist, Shaiva, Shakta, and Bon philosophies. It also emphasizes research methodology, ICT and e-research, academic writing, seminars, and independent research. The program is structured over three semesters (approximately 1.5 years).
