Students can enroll in the master's program if they have a bachelor's degree in education. They do, however, require particular qualifications in order to be admitted to different subjects. In order to be admitted to several specialized subjects under the semester system, they must pass an entrance exam.
The M.Ed. program is organized into three main categories of courses:Core Courseswith a total of 300 full marks,Specialization Coursesincluding anElective Course, together making up 600 full marks (550 for specialization and 50 for the elective), andObligatory Courses—namelyTeaching PracticeandThesis Writing—each valued at 50 marks. Students may choose to specialize in any one of the following subjects,provided they possess foundational knowledge in the chosen area.
In addition to specializing in any one of these subjects, the students of this programme are required to conduct independent research work and participate in teaching and the each related activities (practicum). Both the thesis writing and practicum have to be related to the specialization subjects of the student.

The primary goal of the M.Ed. program is to prepare advanced academic professionals, including teachers, teacher trainers, education planners, administrators, system analysts, and specialists in the education sector. Specifically, the program aims to:

Develop competent professionals for educational planning, administration, management, and supervision,
Encourage innovative approaches and practices in education,
Cultivate leadership and expertise to reform and improve the nation's education system.
