Candidates must fulfilll one of the following criteria in order to be admitted to the B.Sc. Laboratory Medicine program:
10+2 (Science) or Comparable
must have earned a 10+2 or its equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from an accredited board or university.
must have earned a minimum of 50% in PCB and overall (or GPA 2.4) and passed each course separately.
Holders of Health Science Proficiency Certificates or Diplomas
must have earned at least 50% of the possible points on a Proficiency Certificate or Diploma in Health Sciences.
must have a registration with the relevant professional council.

Take note:
Rotational clinical posts in a variety of laboratory departments, including as biochemistry, microbiology, hematology/blood bank, histology, and cytology, are included in the clinical laboratory practicum.
Students will be given a project to complete in the seventh semester. Before the final exam, this project needs to be finished and turned in to the institute.

The Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Medicine (BSc Lab Medicine) is a four-year undergraduate health science program designed to prepare competent medical laboratory scientists for diagnostic, clinical, and research settings. The program combines basic medical sciences with specialized areas such as clinical biochemistry, microbiology, hematology, pathology, immunology, molecular biology, histology, blood banking, laboratory instrumentation, and quality management. It emphasizes practical laboratory training, clinical practicum, research, and internship.
