Applicants must have completed Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at a recognized educational institution with a minimum of 50% or 2.4 CGPA/GPA in the Proficiency Certificate Level or Grade 12 Science Group.
Or,
Students from A-level or other equivalent programs with different grading systems should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and graduated with a minimum of 50% or 2.4 CGPA/GPA. The applicant must have gotten the equivalency letter.
Or,
Proficiency Certificate Level / Diploma in Ayurveda with at least 50% aggregate marks and registration with the appropriate authority.
Or,
Proficiency Certificate/Diploma in Health Science (Medical Lab Technology, Ophthalmic Science, Dental Science, Pharmacy, Radiography, Ayurveda, or Physiotherapy) with at least 50% aggregate marks and having studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects with at least 50% aggregate or 2.4 CGPA (CGPA) marks from the National Examination Board and obtained the equivalence of class 12th science group and registered in the concerned council.

It is an undergraduate degree program aiming to familiarize students with the combined notion of modern medical science and traditional medicines, with a concentration on Ayurveda. This degree has a length of 5.5 years, including internships. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has established a global forum to promote traditional medical systems such as Ayurveda. Aside from MBBS, BAMS is one of the most popular medical science courses.
