Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

Gather, verify, write, edit, and present news for print, broadcast, and digital media.
Produce basic multimedia content using photography, audio, video, and online media tools.

Purbanchal University offers a three-year, six-semester program called the Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC). Students can explore and understand the significance of studying mass communication and journalism in connection to mass media thru this program. Thru practical application, they will gain understanding of communication difficulties and be able to use mass communication principles.
Students identify significant trends in national and international media, raise concerns about the information flow system, and define systems that regulate the function and operation of journalism activity. They also gain insight into the history, laws, and ethical issues of media functioning, including management and organization understanding of news operation and editing.
