Shi-Gan International College of Science & Technology

The private science and technology school Shi-Gan International College of Science & Technology (SICOST) is situated at Narayan Gopal Chowk in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu. With an emphasis on health science teaching, research, and services, the college is run by the Shi-Gan Health Foundation, which was founded in 2005 AD (2061 BS). Microbiology and related health sciences are the academic focus of SICOST, which is associated with Tribhuvan University (TU).

Undergraduate B.Sc. Microbiology and graduate M.Sc. Microbiology programs are offered by SICOST. Laboratory-based learning, scientific research, food and industrial microbiology, agricultural microbiology, virology, immunology, and medical and public health microbiology are all highlighted in the curricula. Additionally, the college has a track record of microbiology and public health research projects and publications.
