Nepal Law Campus (NLC), a renowned college in the country, is the country’s oldest college, providing legal education since 1954. The NLC is in the middle of the Capital.
The legal education system has seen numerous ups and downs on the Campus. NLC has made important contributions to legal education as a constituent campus of Tribhuvan University and as the oldest school providing legal education. NLC is happy to provide the finest and most competent leadership for the courts and other mechanisms both within and beyond the nation.
The primary goal of legal education is to provide knowledge to students pursuing a law degree. To that end, NLC offers three-year Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) programs, five-year Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL.B.) programs, two-year Master of Laws (LL.M.) programs, and three-year Master of Laws (LL.M.) programs after graduation. Professors, readers, and lecturers are among the highly skilled and devoted faculty members of NLC.
The Campus generates thousands of legal graduates who work in various governmental and non-governmental organizations both in the United States and internationally. Its products have included the Attorney General of Nepal, the Chief Justice of Nepal, Justices of the Supreme Court, judges and judicial officers in Nepal, respected academics at many prominent colleges throughout the world, and so on.
