Located in Bansbari, Kathmandu, Namuna College of Fashion Technology (NCFT) is a cutting-edge center for fashion education. Founded in 2002, it is acknowledged as the first fashion college in Nepal and, in partnership with Purbanchal University, launched the nation's first bachelor-level fashion curriculum.
The Bachelor of Fashion Design and Management (BFDM), a four-year, eight-semester curriculum that combines fashion design, textiles, garment technology, fashion marketing, merchandising, and management, is now offered by the college. In order to educate students for professional and entrepreneurial careers in the fashion industry, NCFT places a strong emphasis on hands-on instruction, creativity, industry exposure, internships, and career development.
