The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, offers a postgraduate program called the Master of Sports Science (MSS). In order to offer advanced theoretical and practical expertise in sports science, fitness, coaching, sports management, and allied fields, the program was introduced for the 2018–2019 academic year.
Seminars, workshops, fieldwork, internships, and hands-on activities are all combined with classroom instruction in this program. Sports psychology, sports sociology, sports medicine and nutrition, exercise physiology, kinesiology and biomechanics, sports coaching and training, sports management, sports policy, and sports event management are among the main fields of study. Graduates of the curriculum will be prepared for professions in teaching, sports administration, sports management, fitness training, sports coaching, and sports-related research.
