There are only 144 seats in the Kathmandu Valley (72 at Patan Multiple, 36 at ASCOL, and 36 at Bhaktapur Multiple), plus 36 seats at Padma Kanya Multiple Campus. Over two thousand students are appearing in the entrance exam in the Kathmandu Valley alone.
